6 c. mesclun gourmet salad mix
2 medium plum tomatoes, halved lengthwise, then cut crosswise into slices

Seasoning Ingredients:
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. pepper

- Season steak with salt, as desired. Drizzle with lemon juice. Carve steak crosswise into thin slices.
- In large bowl, combine salad mix and tomatoes; toss gently. Arrange beef on top of salad. Serve with dressing. Makes 4 servings.
Recipe Tips:
- 6 cups of your favorite mixed greens may be substituted for the mesclun.
- Tenderloin steak may be substituted for top sirloin.
- To add a little tang to the salad sprinkle with bleu cheese.
Recipe Notes:
Meslun is a combination of young greens such as arugla, dandelion, frisee, mizuna, oak leaf, mache, radicchio and sorrel.
