Garlicky Steaks & Broccoli Potatoes

Cut: Top Loin Steak/Strip Steak
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Marinate Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes

Main Ingredients:

 2 boneless beef top loin steaks, 1-inch thick
 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Roasted Garlic Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, divided
 
 Broccoli Potatoes:
 1 pound all-purpose potatoes, peeled and quartered
 1 clove garlic, crushed
 1/3 cup skim milk
 1/4 cup lowfat sour cream
 1 cup (4 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, cooked

Directions:
  1. Cut beef steaks crosswise in half to make 4 petite steaks. Place steaks and 1/3 cup roasted garlic teriyaki marinade in plastic bag. Close bag securely, turning to coat. Marinate 30 minutes.
  2. Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade. Place steaks on rack of broiler plan so surface of beef is 3-4 inches from heat. Broil 13 to 15 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once and brushing with remaining 1 tablespoon roasted garlic teriyaki marinade.
  3. Meanwhile in a microwave-safe 1 1/2-qt. casserole, combine potatoes, 2 tablespoons water and garlic. Cover; microwave on high 10 to 12 minutes or until tender. Mash potatoes until smooth. Add milk, sour cream and 1/4 teaspoon salt, beating until light and fluffy. Stir in broccoli. Serve potatoes with steaks. Makes 4 servings.
